Could i play the alto flute or piccolo if i already play the flute?

There are flute ensembles in many colleges and communities that have flute organizations/clubs where you can explore the C flute, piccolo, alto flute and bass flute. All of these instruments are fingered the same. You would need to adjust your embouchure and the amount of breath needed for each one. The literature for alto flute continues to increase. If purchasing music for flute ensemble, I recommend original music that was written for flute ensemble rather than arrangements of a piano pieces. Beware of the latter. IMO that don't make the transition very good.
