Is a Mendini by Cecilio a good brand piccolo?

Hi I'm looking to buy a piccolo but I'm only going to be playing in highschool two more years so I was hoping I could find a good enough brand that is under 300 dollars. I do not want a wood one beause of marching. Suggestions? and what do you think of Mendini? Thanks!
