What should I wear to the Lion King at the Schuster Center tonight?

I am going to see the Lion King with my family and I don't know what is too dressy. I was planning on wearing a black and pink homecoming type dress that is black on top and has a layer of sparkly sequins on the skirt. Is that too dressy?
